Elspeth Scones with Homemade Apricot Compote & Vanilla Mascarpone Cream
Another Elspeth signature. Months of recipe testing has resulted in these light, crumbly, buttery scones which we fill with homemade jam (currently this summer's apricots) and lashings of vanilla mascarpone cream. Made fresh daily. Think Devonshire clotted cream tea but with a NZ flavour.
